Nine months ago, I had a BIG frustrationthat many of you still have. This wasted countless hours of my time, and subjected me to a very risky situation.
How?
Everylogin to a bank account, credit card, eBay, Amazon, BellSouth, Verizon, Schwab, Ameritrade, Fidelity, ... or to services like the Marriott, U.S. Air, Investors Business Daily, or StockTiming.com all REQUIRE us to remember 2 things: A Username and a Password.
I have 112 logins for the business and myself ... that's a combination of 224 Usernames and Passwords. My wife, Cindy, has 34 and a combination of 68.
Like many of you, I used to keep them on 3 sheets of paper. Every time I wanted to login anywhere, I had to pour through the pages, look up the account, go to the website address, and type in the Username and password. This was a very frustrating use of my time, not to mention how unsafe this was if my 3 sheets of paper were ever lost or stolen.
Nine months ago, I found a very simple solution that totally eliminated the problem.
Now ... with 1 click, my list of 112 login sites appears. With a second click, my software "goes to the appropriate login page" ... "automatically puts in my Username and Password" ... and "then automatically logs me in, and takes me to the desired page". The total time it takes me? Less than 5 seconds.
This one solution allows me to NEVER forget any login information, saves me time and frustration, and gives me the security of having my login information totally secure and hidden. (My oldest, "high-tech son", researched the solution and reported that it uses AES, which is the encryption standard used by the U.S. Government. In other words, the encryption protection I enjoy is the best available anywhere.)
What is It?
It's software that has an "automated Password Manager" and a "web form filler. Cindy and I have been using it for over 9 months, and it has truly made our lives easier.
It's cheap and a bargain at $29. It's called RoboForm. It has won a host of awards, and was even recommended by Wall St. Journal when they said, "Easy to use and without any hidden spyware... Innovative, lean, useful product." Having all my Passwords locked and secure is miles ahead of when I had them of 3 sheets of paper.
Bottom line: It's my favorite time saving, security solution. I personally recommend it.
